Welcome Little League Directors and Coaches:

On behalf of Holden Baseball Program, Inc., it is my pleasure to extend your league an invitation to participate in Holden Baseball's 2011 Invitational Summer Tournament.  The Tournament dates are June 20 - July 8, 2011.  Once again, we will have a Little League Minors division and a Little League Majors division.  This Tournament always fills-up quickly and we usually cannot accommodate all the teams that wish to play, so we recommend you submit your application early.

A brief overview of the Tournament:

-  All games will be played at the Swenson Memorial Fields (475 Main Street in Holden) and Davis Hill School (80 Jamieson Road in Holden).

-  The Little League Majors division is open to teams comprised of players who participated in your highest Little League levels and who are not members of your 12-year-old District All-Star team.  Please note, players who were selected for your 12-year-old District All-Star team, but declined participation, are not eligible.  Also, players in the Majors division must be Little League age 12 or under.

-  The Little League Minors division is open to teams comprised of players who did not participate in your highest Little League levels during the regular season.  Players in the Minors division must be Little League age 11 or under (12 year olds are not eligible to play for a Little League Minor team).

-  The Tournament will consist of 5 round-robin games, followed by Semi-final games for the top two teams in each of the "leagues", and a Championship game between the two Semi-final winners.  Players on the championship and first runner-up teams will receive awards.

Please use a separate entry form for each team entered.  Each entry must be accompanied by a check, in the amount of $385.00 and payable to "Holden Baseball" (please submit entry applications and appropriate fees to Robert Sachse at 49 Wood Street; Jefferson, MA 01522).  No entry will be considered accepted without a completed entry application and payment of the entry fee.  As this tournament is an "invitational" tournament, entries will be accepted at the discretion of the Tournament Committee and on a "first-come, first-consideration" basis from invited Leagues.
